An innovative way to research Weston, Wellesley, Wayland or Needham Massachusetts if you live in Boston

It is the age of the Internet, but now and then it is nice to talk to a person about the town you are interested in moving to.

That is why my real estate partner, Susan Bevilacqua and I, decided to host, “Cocktails and Conversation.” This is going to be a cocktail hour in Boston for prospective buyers who are making the sometimes scary move from the city to the ‘burbs.

I’ve done that move successfully, but only after my husband fought me the entire way to Wellesley, afraid we would lose our “edge”, frightened of becoming the cliche—the suburban family too afraid to venture out of town. I am proud to say we are still on the go, and many times it is into the city with the kids in tow, or into Boston for a party or dinner at a new restuarant.
