Sprague Fields Task Force at Work in Wellesley, MA to Create Master Plan
Wellesley Citizens Come Together To Create a Plan for Playing Fields Near Sprague School
|
For the past six months I have been serving on the Sprague Fields Task Force (SFTF) as a representative of the Sprague Elementary School community. Sprague abuts the playing fields which were built over a former land fill. The state is requiring that the town of Wellesley remediate two of the fields by June ‘09.
The SFTF is working to develop a recommendation that addresses the remediation of the Sprague Field and optimizes the use of the fields at the Sprague Field Complex.
The SFTF consists of representatives from Town boards, the abutting neighborhood, the Sprague School community and youth athletic programs.
