Sophisticated Vibe...Affordable Fare in Wellesley

Located in Wellesley’s newly redeveloped Linden Square, The Cottage, which is sophisticated yet family friendly, offers an affordable American menu and one of Wellesley’s only bars. The restaurant has an open, airy Nantucket feel with white wainscotting, dark wood floors, high ceilings and green and blue hues throughout. There is an inviting fireplace in the main dining room and a private room with french glass doors for larger groups.

Recently Jane and her husband enjoyed a pre-holiday lunch at the Cottage. The Restaurant was full so we opted to sit at the bar. It was a comfortable and relaxing and service was efficient and friendly. The wine list is extensive and the cocktail menu was tempting.

Note: the Cottage does not accept reservations and there have been significant waits for dinner. (It can be 45 minutes or more.) Of course, a wait might be a great opportunity to check out the new Roche Bros. (To read our related blog, click here.) and Linden Square shops. Currently the Cottage is open daily for lunch and dinner. Weekend brunch begins February 2nd and daily breakfast is coming soon.
