The one thing people have to remember is that technology can’t arm you with personal knowledge and experience. It is so easy to get carried away on the computer, googling this and googling that, that anyone can feel as if they were an expert. What the numbers and graphs don’t tell you is if the house is located in a heavy traffic area, if a home’s price is over-inflated, if the neighborhood is child-friendly, etc. Local brokers have local knowledge and are armed with the pertinent information that you need to make sure you are getting the right home for you and your needs. When you begin your real estate search you can look up statistics till you’re blue in the face, you can access the MLS and find the homes that appeal to your needs, what you need to do then is find the right broker in the communities that interest you.
