Needham Times Staff Taste Tests Ice Cream Around Town

Recently a few staff members of the Needham Times conducted an ice cream taste test at four Needham establishments: Cafe Mucca Blu on Highland Avenue, Friendly’s on Chestnut Street, Ice Cream Junction on Junction Street and Panella’s Market on Central Avenue. According to their report, they “spooned and licked three flavors - vanilla, chocolate, and something out-of-the-ordinary.” In addition, they “judged flavor and texture, but…also checked out service and atmosphere.”
