March sees Plenty of Activity in Wellesley's Country Club Neighborhood

March has been a pretty busy month as regards Real Estate in Wellesley, MA with new listings and sales all over town.  The Country Club neighborhood was particulary active.  Four properties came on the market in this special Wellesley neighborhood within days of each other and each went under agreement within a very short space of time, with multiple offers in some cases.  Asking prices ranged from $1.5m to $2.4m.  One or two of these homes were snapped up by developers and we look forward to seeing them back on the market in their newly refurbished state later this year.  Two other Country Club properties which had been on the market a little longer also went under agreement this month and a new listing in the $2.5m range was introduced a couple of weeks ago and is still available.  As usual this does not take into consideration the properties that sold privately and did not officially come on the market.

At time of writing there are four properties on the market in the Country Club neighborhood ranging in price from approximately $800,000 to $3.7m. and the buzz is that a couple more will become available in the near future, one of these a splendid new construction in the $3.5m. range.
