Wellesley Newcomers' Club Helps New Residents Get Acquainted With Wellesley

New in town? Joining the Newcomers’ Club!  Newcomers http://www.wellesley-newcomers.org/ has been welcoming new residents (families and individuals) become better acquainted with the Wellesley community, services, businesses and people for over 40 years. A wide variety of activities for members are scheduled each month during the club year. These activities are announced in The Bugle, the Club newsletter, which is published monthly. Typical Club events and activities include:

• Family Activity Fair — September

• Wine Tasting — November 
• Holiday Cookie Exchange — December 
• Holiday Wreath Workshop — December 
• Gala & Auction — February 
• Beer Tasting — March 
• Clambake — June 
• Monthly Activities:

  • Casual Dinner Parties (Casual Cuisine) 
  • Working Women’s Dinner Group 
  • Book Club Group 
  • Expatriates Group 
  • Children’s Programs 

Membership in the Club is open to new residents of Wellesley, and is limited to a period of five (5) Club years (September through June). On average, Club membership includes 100 to 150 families each year. Our goal is to help newcomers feel more like a part of the Wellesley community and meet others who are new to the area.
