New to town? WMF provides excellent entree to the Wellesley, MA community
One aspect of my job as a Realtor that I enjoy the most is helping my customers get acquainted with our town and community. A great way for families of young children to make friends and get connected is through the Wellesley Mothers Forum (WMF). The WMF is a group of 400+ mothers from Wellesley and surrounding towns. Founded in 1991, the WMF is a social organization that provides an opportunity for mothers of children birth to 8-years-old to get together and enjoy interesting and educational speakers, share parenting information and make lasting friendships. Each month, members gather to hear lectures on various parenting topics. Many of our speakers are nationally known experts. These meetings provide members with important information, in addition to a well–deserved night out! The WMF also organizes children’s activities, coordinates playgroups, provides email groups, and hosts social events. Some of the current offerings include sample classes at Liberty Fitness for the moms and at Linx, the Enrichment Club for kids. I joined when my twins were preschoolers and have found it to be a tremendous social support for the whole family. For more information on WMF, go to www.wellesleymothersforum.com or give me a call.
