Alta Strada to replace Figs on Central Street
For those of us still mourning the recent closure of Todd English’s “Figs” in Wellesley MA consolation is at hand with the buzz that Michael Schlow is to open his newest restaurant “Alta Strada” at the old “Figs’” location at 92 Central Street in Wellesley MA.
Yes, one great Chef replaces another as Michael Schlow takes over and adds “Alta Strada” to his impressive existing list of restaurants which includes the renowned “Radius” and “Via Matta” both of which he owns with his partner, Christopher Myers, and which are located in Boston MA.
“Alta Strada” is expected to open end January 2007 “construction permitting”.
